Day 1: Your Egypt adventure begins with your arrival at Cairo airport. Our professional guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After settling in, we’ll begin our journey by visiting the magnificent Sultan Hassan Mosque. Built between 1356 and 1363, this mosque is one of Cairo’s finest examples of Islamic architecture, covering almost 8,000 square meters.
Next, we’ll visit the Al-Rifai Mosque, completed in 1912. This mosque was commissioned by Princess Dowager Khushyar, and it houses the tombs of several members of Egypt’s royal family, from Khedive Ismail to King Faruk. Afterward, transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: After an early breakfast, we begin our journey to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built with about 3,000,000 blocks, the pyramid offers a fascinating opportunity to explore its interior burial chambers. Located at the Giza Plateau, we’ll also see the ancient Sphinx, standing 20 meters high and 74 meters long.
Our next stop will be the City of Memphis, founded around 5,000 BC by Menes. It was the first capital of Egypt after the unification of the Upper and Lower Kingdoms. Memphis, located in the Sakkara region, is filled with monuments, antiquities, and tombs, making it the most ancient burial site in Egypt.
Finally, we will visit the King Zoser Step Pyramid, located on a desert plateau. The pyramid complex includes temples and tombs, all adorned with elaborate wall engravings. The pyramid was designed by the architect Imhotep for King Zoser of the III dynasty. After the tour, we will transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: After a quick breakfast, we begin our day by visiting the majestic Citadel, located on Cairo's only elevated ground at 75 meters above the plain. Sultan Saladin constructed this fortress in 1176. Inside the citadel, we will explore the iconic Mohamed Ali Mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque), built in 1830. The mosque is a symbol of Cairo, with a central dome 21 meters in diameter and 52 meters high, supported by four square pillars.
Our next stop is the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, established by Auguste Mariette in 1898 and opened in 1901. This museum houses one of the most important collections of Egyptian antiquities, including artifacts from the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. A highlight is the exhibit dedicated to King Tutankhamun’s collection of gold treasures and jewelry.
We will then head to Coptic Cairo, where we will visit the Hanging Church (also known as the Al-Mualaka Church), built in the 4th century. Nearby, we’ll see the Abu Serga Church, a traditional stop for the Holy Family during their flight into Egypt, as well as the Abraham Ben Ezra Jewish Synagogue, constructed in the 7th century. After visiting these historic sites, we will transfer back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
